What SMTP connects

  • Provider configuration

    Enter the sending address, SMTP host, port and supported authentication details.

  • Connection testing

    Send a test message before using the account for a client proposal.

  • Proposal sharing

    Choose the SMTP account when preparing a proposal email.

Set it up

  1. Check your provider settings

    Get the SMTP host, port and authentication requirements from your email provider. Some providers require an app password.

  2. Add the sender

    Open Settings → Connected inboxes, choose SMTP and enter the configuration.

  3. Test, then share

    Send a test email to yourself. Review each proposal email before sending it to the client.

Connection details

  • The connection sends proposal emails. It is not an inbox reader, a complete email client or a cold-outreach campaign engine.
  • Provider permissions, account configuration and sending limits still apply. A successful connection does not guarantee delivery to the inbox.
  • Email opens and clicks are signals. Privacy protections and automated scanning can affect the recorded activity.
